About Organization
The school is a public secondary school located in a semi-rural area. It is located in Sainte Tulle, a village of 3,500 inhabitants, 6km from Manosque, which has a population of 22,000. The school has around 500 students aged 11 to 15, divided into 20 classes. The school is run by a management team consisting of a Principal, a Deputy Headmistress and a Headmaster's Secretary. There are 2 secretaries, 38 teachers, 8 Special Needs Teaching Assistant and a school life team consisting of 5 school monitor and a chief education advisor. The school employs 9 « du département 04 »(French teritorial administration) staffs to maintain the premises and prepare meals for the canteen, which caters for around 440 people every lunchtime. The health and social team includes a social worker, a school psychologist on duty one day a week and a part-time nurse. The school climate is good The courses on offer include general subjects such as French, Mathematics, Science, Physical Education, as well as Artistic subjects such as Music and visual arts. All students study English as a second language, as well as Spanish, Italian or German. The school also offers lunchtime clubs and workshops such as a Reading, Science and Drama Club to develop students' talents and passions. There are also sports activities such as soccer, badminton, table tennis and other sports to develop the physical activity habits that are essential for good physical and mental health.
