The ecological centre Švýcárna is a group of renovated historical buildings where educational programmes, self-development events, weekend events, and summer camps take place. There are two conference rooms, a handcraft workshop, and accommodation for 40 guests. We aim to develop the community and our surroundings by common work, and non-formal education methods. In our activities, we emphasize the idea of voluntarism and helping nature protection and cultural heritage conservation. Our main activities are organising voluntary and self-development events, summer camps, weekend events, one-day events, youth exchanges, etc. Typical participants of our activities are active young people, primary school children, youth and adults interested in self-development and volunteers. We also host ESC volunteers, coordinate volunteering abroad and write educational materials and methodologies.
