Yenimahalle İlçe Milli Eğitim Müdürlüğü- YIMEM is a govermental regional educational authority in charge of planning and coordination of all educational authority in charge of planning and coordination of all educational and training activities from pre-school to the end of secondary school. Along with schools the institution provides services to community with Consulting and Research Centre, Public Education CENTRE, Vocational Guiding Department, Guiding Research and Development,Vocational Training Centre. Apprenticeship and Vocational Technical Education which support adult training with non-formal courses to create a better social cohesion and opportunities for employability for beneficiaries. 110.000 students/learners study in 242 Public and private educational institutions and approximately 7000 teachers/trainers (staff) work in these institues. There are students and adults under the risk of exclusion and coming from the east part of Turkey. There are also people who need special education and attends courses in our organisations such as Public Education Center. The vision of the institution is to ensure authentic contribution of the development of Turkish Ntional Education system by providing effective usage of knowledge, skills, values and technology required for knowledge area of today's world.
