A.R.I.Z.-7

Association for Development of Arts and Craftsmanship – 7 is a non-profit organization established in the early 2009. Its main aim is to preserve and promote the Bulgarian traditions in the fields of arts, traditional crafts, folklore and cuisine. The Association is featured in the Ministry of Culture’s registry of organizations undertaking cultural activities. Main initiatives are: 1. The national culinary festival "Pustra Trapeza" - the only one in the country traveling culinary festival, reflecting the richness and diversity of traditional Bulgarian cuisine by ethnographic regions. It has been held for seven consecutive years and so far has performed in over 80 locations. 2. National drawing competition "Grandmother’s recipes" - part of the calendar of extracurricular activities of Bulgarian Ministry of Education - 7th consecutive year 3. "Tradition’s Guardian" - annual nominations in different categories, photo contest and a National Round that have as main purpose to show the traditional craftsmen, traditional singers, dancers and etc and also the young ones that start they way. ARIZ-7 won (2015) the Annual Municipality Award for General contribution in the field of traditions; In 2013 PR Award 2013 - the XIII-th edition of the most prestigious competition organized by the Bulgarian Society for Public Relations (BDVO) for PR projects. It has been recognized by the international jury and was awarded in the category "Socially responsible project in the nonprofit sector." The Association was the only non-governmental organization, awarded in the competition.
