Tourism club "Oga"

Tourism club “Oga” is nonprofit, non-governmental organization located in Latvia. Organization is based on tourism activities, youth involvement, environmental improvement and public education. Aim is to attract young people to outdoor activities such as water tourism, cycling, hiking and mountaineering. Organization takes part in different competitions where young people can improve their knowledge, self-assertion and develop leadership qualities. We believe that time which is qualitatively and creatively spend by taking part in such activities can help to acquire knowledge and skills for future. Tourism club “Oga” also includes educational and social part. Proud of the organization is Viking settlement – place where legends became truth and spirits of old Vikings are fellable. In Vikings settlement everyone has chance to live through Vikings life and even learn the ancient fighting skills (with prototypes of Vikings weapons) and get historical knowledges about that time. Main qualities for organization are strong team, self-improvement and possibility for everyone to make their ideas live. We believe in power of youth!
