"Cuzisti implicati"

The association “ Cuziști implicați” was founded at the initiative of some former students of the „Al. I. Cuza” National College, from Focsani, Romania. This non-governmental association aims tu support education, both through fundraising actions and counselling and guidance. If at the beginning most members were former students and teachers, today there are involved parents of the students, friends or business men. The increase in number of the members has led to an increasing number of projects, activities, therefore to the distribution of tasks. Its objectives are: • Supporting the educational partnerships between the teaching units and the institutions with educational role nationally and internationally; • Co-working with the underage protection committees, or with the NGOs with attributes on this domain, with the goal of helping the students or pupils that are in need of protection or any other kind of help. • Getting involved in improving the quality of the student’s and pupil’s life and activities; • Performing some educative programs on themes like: the drugs and their consumption in the teen’s life , familial violence , protecting the under ages with the help of the schools; • Promoting and making the students know about the Romanian cultural traditions , developing the multiculturalism and the social dialogue ; • Organizing of some school, interschool, national or international level contests. • Building a climate where somebody’s work, knowledge and fairness are rewarded and appreciated. • Environmental protection and contributing to make a change on how it is percepted. • Promoting tourism to the young. • Promoting the concept of durable development in both the urban and the rural communities;
