ACADEMY OF STRATEGIC KNOWLEDGE is a community interest company founded in July 2016 in the United Kingdom - London, out of passion for non-formal education and active involvement of young leaders in the community. ASK is part of 3 international networks such as EURODESK, EPALE and European Training and Education Network (ETEN); Supporting Member in Social Enterprise UK, and member in Vision Redbridge Culture and Leisure – Hub Central and RedbridgeCVS. ASK is also a very active organization in the field of voluntarism and especially in European Solidarity Corps. Our organisation has been accredited as a volunteering Hosting/Supporting organization - Quality Label 2018-1-UK01-ESC. We are supporting and hosting volunteers in projects for 12 months or short term and has sent also volunteers abroad. MISSION The goal of the ACADEMY OF STRATEGIC KNOWLEDGE - London, is to help the sector of youth education by organizing local and international training courses, experience exchanges, international strategic partnerships and enrich the knowledge of the participants by using non-formal education. We work on implementing strategic partnership projects, with different partners, from public and NGO sector, in UK territory and across EU member and partner states. ASK aims to promote educational, cultural, touristic, ecological, scientific research and promote cutting-edge technologies. We believe in improving quality of life, health and social activities of the people and communities, in relation to sustainable future development. ACADEMY OF STRATEGIC KNOWLEDGE is a ‘not for profit’ Community Interest Company (CIC) that provides Funding, Training & Support Services to Education, Business, Community & Public organizations. A Community Interest Company (CIC) is a legally incorporated ‘social enterprise’ that conducts its business in an ethical manner and with a distinct social ethos. The ASK team can call on over 10 years of expert professional experience of Training and obtaining Funding for a wide range of Education, Business and Community organizations. SERVICES ASK is an educational training provider at local and European level, has a consultant role for public and private bodies in order to promote and develop European and trans-continental projects in Youth/Adults/VET/HEI/Sport Sectors. We provide technical assistance and consultancy to those organization and institutions which wish to implement projects as a hosting organization and take us as partners. PROGRAMMES ASK works on Erasmus+, Horizon 2020, Cosme, Europe for Citizens, Creative Europe, EuropeAid, EaSi, Life+, IEE, the United Nations programmes (UNDEF), The Redbridge Community Project Fund and Small Grants Fund and with foundations such as Big Lottery Fund and Mayor of London.
