"TERRITOIRES EDUCATIFS" ARIÈGE-PYRÉNÉES

EDUCATIVE TERRITORIES, ARIÈGE-PYRÉNÉES, PARTNERSHIP PLATFORM FOR YOUTH ACTORS The mission "Educative Territories" is a platform that brings together a set of institutions (National Education, Youth and Sport ministry...) and popular education organisations in Ariège-Pyrénées (associations, federations ...). As part of a territorial educational project, this platform relies on youth coordinators, responsible for implementing local educational policies (PEL) in rural areas (municipalities and communities of municipalities), in the educational community (teachers, animators, parents, associative actors, youngsters, elected politicians). We are in with local elected officials and all professionals from the educational and social field from early childhood to youth (schools, colleges, high schools, crèches, recreation centers...). So we are about fifteen actors of youth organised in a network at the scale of a rural department of southern France, at the foot of the Pyrenees (Occitanie). The issues related to the education of children and young people are important to us, especially the organisation of the child's rhythms (school time, leisure time for activities). We are looking for partners to discover the Finnish education system, learn and evolve through the exchange of practice and the meeting of another culture, and experience the international mobility with Erasmus+. We would like to submit our Erasmus+ application file in February 2019 and stay in Finland in October 2019. We hope that our initiative and our testimony on our return will have an impact on our territories and practices. Would it also stimulate other international mobility and partnership projects with youth actors and young people in Ariège?
