AICHA is strives to contribute towards bringing forth sustainable development of the oasis uones within Southern Morocco. We look forward to assisting in the diminishment of rural exodus through re-establishing agriculture ecologically, appropriate planting of native trees and plants, and the enhancement of eco-tourism. An educational project of the association has been established as a response to the environmental and humanitarian challenges confronting the people of the Region. The challenges we address: · Permanent establishment of the right to sustainable development for the benefit of all as a primary concern. · Environmental education enabling citizens to more fully comprehend and respect these natural processes and phenomena. · Recognize and respond better to these social, economic, environmental, and climate changes. · Design and implementation of projects that better enable income generation and increase self-employment possibilities. · Provide opportunities for encounters fostering enhanced appreciation and a beter understanding of those local population & the hosted EU youth volunteers.
