UN SORRISO PER TUTTI SOC.COOP.SOC.ONLUS The cooperative UN SORRISO PER TUTTI was founded by a group of young educators who worked diligently with constancy and tenacity for voluntary activities in the region. Over time, this group of educators feels the need for create a cooperative with the aim to turn a passion into a profession. The cooperative UN SORRISO PER TUTTI, works for prevent and contrast situations of juvenile and family hardship; is located near the historic city centre of Cerignola (FG), place where it actively works. Since the beginning, the cooperative has always played an extremely important role, working with foster children and giving domiciliary educational assistance. It’s aim gives to the cooperative itself the need to expand its work and to set up new structures for welcome unaccompanied – Italian or foreign – minors. The cooperative was officially made up in February 2012 and it has as main objective the protection of minors, in particular: • work not only on problematic minors and their problems, but also on families, schools, parishes, districts, etc. • encourage kids to draw up a personal life plan; • encourage kids to respect themselves and others. ACTIVITIES CARRIED OUT IN RECENT YEARS: • Since 2013 the Cooperative Un Sorriso Per Tutti has been a managing body of the educational community San Francesco d’ Assisi. It consists of build confiscated from the mafia that the Municipality of Cerignola has entrusted to the AVE Association. The community San Francesco d’Assisi hostes unaccompanied foreign minors with the aim to give them a chance to ameliorate their lives and growth. • Since 2013 the Cooperative has been supporting the Foundation “BAMBINI IN EMERGENZA” in Singureni (ROMANIA). The task of the Association is to help abandoned and with acquired immunodeficiency syndrome (AIDS) children. • 2014: project “Un Angelo alla Porta”. The cooperative “Un Sorriso per Tutti” acted as active partner in this program. • Since 2016 the cooperative Un Sorriso Per Tutti has been the managing body for the SPRAR project “Casa Futura”. From 14 February 2016 the SPRAR project for UFM “Casa Futura” welcomes 10 minors: 7 males, victims of violence and abuse and 3 females who came from difficult situations (prostitution, violence and abuse). • In December 2017, the Cooperative Un Sorriso per Tutti won the tender for the management of the municipal nursery in Ordona . since 9 January 2018 the Cooperative is responsible for the nursery “I TRE PASTORELLI DI FATIMA”, working with 24 kids from 6 to 36 months. • In 2018 , the Cooperative was managing body la Cooperativa è Ente Gestore del progetto “ IL MARE IN UNA CONCHIGLIA: RITRATTI SUI DIVERSI MODI DI ACCOGLIERE” finanziato con il bando “Art.8, l.r.12/2005 - Iniziative per la pace e per lo sviluppo delle relazioni tra i popoli del Mediterraneo - Interventi 2018” – REGIONE PUGLIA. • January 2019: the cooperative Un Sorriso per Tutti won the tender for the realisation of activities for kids and teenagers. • From January to June 2019 the cooperative manages the project “Crescite a confronto-laboratori di comunità educante ed inclusiva”. • February 2019: Un Sorriso per tutti won the tender “Assistenza dominciliare educativa” in Cerignola. • May 2019. The Cooperative UN SORRISO PER TUTTI sings a convention with the Apulian Region and his oroject “INCONTR-ARTI A COLORI”.
