Youth Association "IBTIKAR" for Upbringing and Management is a non-profit youth organization based in Algeria, committed to empowering young people through education, capacity building, community engagement, and sustainable local development initiatives. Our association works to strengthen the role of youth as active agents of change by providing training opportunities, developing leadership skills, promoting civic participation, and supporting innovative solutions to local development challenges. We believe that investing in young people is essential for building resilient, inclusive, and sustainable communities. A particular focus of our work is on border and peripheral regions, which often face unique socio-economic challenges, including limited access to opportunities, unemployment, social exclusion, and developmental disparities. Through our activities, we seek to enhance youth participation in local development processes and contribute to social cohesion, community resilience, and sustainable growth in these regions. Our organization designs and implements training programs, workshops, awareness campaigns, youth exchanges, community projects, and educational initiatives aimed at strengthening personal, professional, and entrepreneurial competencies among young people. We actively promote non-formal education as an effective tool for learning, empowerment, intercultural understanding, and social inclusion.
