Our Story It was our dreams, ideas & visions that brought us together. We were looking for what gives us meaning, joy & balance, & furthers the development of our society. We started to fill a community space with creativity, education, self-sufficiency & health. So, Vila Flora was created, and it’s name is now known in many countries. Thanks to the friendly atmosphere & meetings where countless people learned new knowledge & skills. Over the course of seven years, Vila Flora served as a home for more than a hundred volunteers from all around the world, inspired more than a thousand guests, and hosted hundreds of different events & meetings. However, the main task is still ahead of us. Countries are declaring a climate crisis, a current pandemia is shaking the world and the original vila in Prague has new owners. All these circumstances led us to the original vision to run an ecovillage where people will do what they love, live together & help each other. Cultivation & production bring abundance to the community and the landscape. The buildings are made of natural materials & individual community members have their privacy. We create a functional community and share our activities, knowledge & products with each other, and around the world. Yes, you are part of this Mission. Maybe you play one of the main roles. One way or another, we all have the opportunity to support & accelerate the fulfillment of this extraordinary task. Our Mission We focus on a person’s health, both on the individual & social level; We begin with ourselves, by living in accordance with our values ​​& ideas; We produce raw, organic food & medicine, made from local ingredients; We create an ecovillage, where people support each other in meaningful activities. We have successfully implemented the Vila Flora Project in Prague and now we have moved our activities to the newly emerging ecovillage in South Bohemia. Vila Flora is a lifestyle: Products that naturally strengthen our immunity & vitality; A space that benefits its surroundings & the world; Sources of inspiration on how to live naturally, in harmony with oneself, with our bodies & nature. We create self-sufficient places – real communities that ensure material & spiritual satisfaction – using the energy of plants, fermentation, water, and the sun. These places come to life thanks to humanity, creativity, attention, purity, and diversity. Vila Flora brings into our daily lives various aspects of permaculture & active non-violence. Vila Flora is an environment, activities & products manifesting the change we want in our everyday lives & in the world.
