Save the Children Netherlands

Save the Children Netherlands (SCNL) was established in 1981 and is one of the leading children’s rights organisations in the Netherlands. Its mission is to realise irreversible change for and with children over the whole world. We support children in growing up in safe and healthy environments, where they can learn. Together with 120+ Save the Children (SC) organisations, SCNL is a member of Save the Children International. The SC organisations are in close and often collaborate to strengthen and build on each other's efforts. For the projects that SCNL is running in the Netherlands, SCNL enjoys its broad expertise on the topics of youth participation, mental health and psychosocial support (MHPSS), climate and child safeguarding. SCNL has two major programmes in the Netherlands: TeamUp (TU) and Speaking Minds (SpM). SCNL has been (co-)leading on the development and expansion of both programmes, including through institutional funding.
