Trakya University/Architecture Faculty

Located on the historic Macedonia Campus in Edirne, Trakya University Faculty of Architecture brings together design disciplines that shape the built and natural environment. Department of Architecture The Architecture Department focuses on architectural design, history, theory, and building technologies. Department of Landscape Architecture The Landscape Architecture Department emphasizes the design, planning, and management of open and green spaces, aiming to balance ecological, social, and aesthetic values. Students engage in field studies, studio projects, and research related to sustainable landscapes, urban green infrastructure, and nature-based solutions. The department also supports interdisciplinary collaboration and public participation in planning processes. Department of Interior Architecture The Interior Architecture Department provides education focused on the design of interior spaces that enhance human comfort, functionality, and well-being. The curriculum covers interior design studios, furniture design, material and lighting technologies, and restoration of interior spaces. It equips students with creative and technical skills for careers in interior design, furniture production, and emerging design industries.
