Smart Village Knezica

Our vision is to establish a comprehensive research and development infrastructure based on EU Living Lab methodology, integrating education, innovation, experimentation, and sustainable production. This model has been recognized by motivated experts and farmers, starting from the fact that formal research and education systems in BiH are not able to respond properly to the dynamic changes of the modern information society. At the moment Smart Village gathers about 30 PhD and Master Degree reasearchers from country and abroad. The core Smart Village expert team includes experienced members in the fields of marketing, economics, electrical engineering, software engineering, and agriculture. SVK also gathers community of youth students, actively working on their education and involvement into creative process through educational courses and youth projects. From 2023. Smart Village gathers an active community of local young farmers, motivated to adopt novel tech solutions as future first-adopters and promoters of novel technologies. Smart Village Knežica assigned strategic partnership with Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management of Republic of Srpska. It has vivid and continuous cooperation with University.
