Sehit er ersin guner secondery school

Sehit Er Ersin Guner Secondary School is a state educational institution which is situated in Beykoz, one of the historically and geographically important destinations in Istanbul. Owing to its geographical location, the school is very close to the Bosphorus and enjoys a very nice view of it. Furthermore , the school building and its setting is quite safe as it is located in a surrounded residential site with one main gate guarded by security officers. The school is also equally distanced from both of the two international airports in Istanbul. The school consists of one large building with a library, a science laboratory, a large hall, a playground, a sports ground for physical activities and a school restaurant. It approximately has 450 students aged from 10 to 14 years old. The staff consisting 24 educators, a school principle and an assistant school principle is formed of experienced teachers of different branches. Because of its high quality education system, the school is highly preferred by parents around the area. In addition to basic academic skills, the students of the fifth and the sixth grades are given intensive English courses, which can be scheduled up to 13 hours a week. As a policy, the school aims to raise individuals who are academically fulfilled and independent good citizens who can think globally, respect others’ ideas and have high self-esteem, and self-confidence. In order to improve our intellectual world and gain global learning outcomes, we are interested in Erasmus plus projects. Thus, we are studying on a new project. In addition to our existing project, we are also willing to participate in other projects as partners.
