AFADIN (English: Adapted Physical Activity for the Holistic Development) is a non-profit organization that aspires to enhance personal and community development by using social transformation tools such as adapted physical activity, sport and games. Our mission: To build capacity of professionals and organizations to transform social reality through sport. We are a national organization that aims to have an impact on a European and international level. All the activities and resources are targeted to professionals or communities that are willing to educate on diversity through sport. AFADIN has a highly-qualified and experienced team in the areas of disability, sports sciences, social psychology, education on diversity and management. This multidisciplinary approach enables a more effective way to address issues such as inequality, poverty, human rights or social justice. AFADIN emphasizes the importance of local development as a way to improve societies. Thus, the main objective of our projects is to build capacity among individuals and communities.
