ROIS (Ready to Open Intercultural Spaces) Association

The purpose of ROIS Association is to support and promote the North-East Region of Romania, both at national and international levels. It organizes activities that contribute on the one hand to the development of the people living in this region (economically, socially, educationally, culturally, ecological, touristic, etc.) and, on the other hand, to the improvement of Romania’s image outside its borders. Since 2014, when it was founded, ROIS Association had the opportunity of getting involved in projects that aimed to sustain the local community, therefore we provided help (informational, logistical or in any other ways possible) for the members of our local network in various projects. ROIS Association operates both in urban areas and in small towns, in Romania and abroad, actively interacting with local communities especially those characterized by marginalization and social disadvantaged, developing best practices in the field of qualitative and quantitative measures that can be taken to improve the quality lives of the persons from the North-East Region of Romania (ex: visual documentation, creation and promotion of materials, mass-sport events dedicated to living a healthier live, lifelong learning programmes, educational projects either for adults or children and young people in the subjects of its competence). ROIS Association has good collaborations with local authorities like Iasi Municipality, with public Universities in Iasi, the Romanian Institute of Research, Chamber of Commerce, local and foreign NGOs, private entities from Iasi, with many schools in various fields like education, culture, tourism, found rising, marketing planning, ICT, new media and traditional communication, international cooperation.
