Grup Eirene

Grup Eirene got started in October 2011 with the aim to create a pacifist, educational and solidary association, that promotes respect for human rights and peace from a creative and innovative perspective. Our actions want to stimulate education on no-violence, promoting peace culture, human development and human rights amongst children, teenagers and adults. In the future we want our task to develop not only in our local environment but extend it to other places, so we can create or join networks and extend our objectives. In this sense we think cooperation is the way to grow personally and professionally. We believe in the construction of a society that favours human values over economic values, peace culture over violence, the position of collective responsibility of the countries over the competitive position; always applying the gender, sustainability and human rights perspective.
