Management Accessibility Culture APS

M.A.C. is a non-profit association founded by three young women in Lecce, South Italy, born as an hub “for all” where young people can find: opportunities in mobility, training to promote self employment, social inclusion, intercultural and intergenerational learning. M.A.C. is a non-profit association founded to promote sustainability/environmental and accessibility through tourism management and cultural activities. Our mission is also to develop and enrich our land starting with the youth, in order to create a generation of active and conscious European citizens in an inclusive society. We want to offer experience to students, young workers, unemployed and in particular we focus for the empowerment of italians deaf : we want to promote mobility in order to allow them to meet different cultures and people, to give them an opportunity to get new skills, to improve employability in Europe and to support professional, personal and cultural growth. About deaf people our aim is also to promote sign language (which is still no recognized in italy) and deaf signers 's community as a cultural minority with his own identity to be protected and share, to promote a dialogue with institutions (schools, Council...) and private sector to ensure accessibility and equal opportunities for deaf and for all, and social inclusion.
