Council of Lora del Río

The municipality of Lora del Río (Seville) is one of 104 municipalities from the province of Seville within Guadalquivir valley, to the east of Seville, which is about 57 kilometres away. Located in Gualdaquivir valley has strong agroindustry with citrus and vegetable. We have been working with young people for more than 10 years in the field of youth exchanges. In our organization, there are a lot of active young people between 13-25 years old. They are creative and funny people who are very interested in international youth projects. Through our organization organize activities for young people, we give them information about all the international opportunities (exchanges, traineeships, scholarships, international jobs, European Voluntary Service, fellowships etc.). Besides we try to improve their social skills and we carry out activities to promote knowledge about Europe. Main projects that we have recently developed are: -En-pathy AMIF-2018-AG-INTE- Código proyecto: 863636. -Agrovega Plus 2016-1ES01-KA (2017, 2018 y 2019). -Greenworld (youth exchange)2015-2ES02-KA-. -Open the door the sport equality (youth exchange) 2015-2ES02-KA-. -Eurojoven 2006 en Mollina (Málaga). -Eurozoersel 1993, 1996,1999, 2002, 2005, 2008, 2011, 2014 y 2018 en Zoersel. (Bélgica). The main topics that we are interested in are anti-discrimination, environment, gender equality, human rights, integration, intercultural dialogue, LGTBQ issues, minorities, sports, sustainable development and volunteering. We develop many activities and workshops with youngsters to teach them how to be better citizens by giving them values to improve our society. We learn together with different educative methods inside of nor-formal education led by youth workers from the European information office of our council. As host organization undertakes to: -To manage all the activities of a complete timetable for a youth exchange: daily activities about the topic as role-plays, theatres, flashmob, videoblogs, web pages, youngsters' entertainment, groups' dynamics, debates, round tables, conferences, advertisement proposals, workshops, communication dynamics, trips, games, sport activities, euro dinners etc. -Providing all the necessary elements to host partners in the best quality conditions talking about accommodation and diets. - To prepare Youthpass to participants with the main knowledge that they have had for the exchange. - Preparing the draft in with the promoter, making a Memorandum of understanding to facilitate the transfer of credits in the Common Framework ECVET. - Development of a practical agreement for each participant. - Foster understanding of the culture and mentality of the host country. - Receive the participants and search tasks as decided in the project and according to the CV of participants and training needs professional. -Assign Tasks and responsibilities of the participants to match their knowledge, skills, competencies and training objectives and ensure the proper equipment and support. - Identify a tutor to monitor the progress of participants training. -Provide Practical support if required. -Fill The agreement on the quality of the partnership in the Leonardo da Vinci program. -Fill All documentation, Europass and reports.
