FIRKA Ifjúsági Egyesület

FIRKA Youth NGO is a Hungarian organization. Our organization’s main objective is to help young people, broaden their horizon, develop their competences, inspire them, motivate their mobility through international exchange programs and projects. We would like to ensure active cooperation between the youth and youth workers who can support them with career choices, job search assistance. We have a good relationship with other NGOs in Hungary and abroad as well, our aim is to expand our relations, we would like to cooperate with other organizations, local governments, educational institutions on domestic and international level. Our NGO is really young, it was established at the beginning of 2016, so it does not have yet many relevant activities. The organization’s first youth exchange (Do something for yourself and society!) was held in September and November, it was a 2 stage program. The project was about youth unemployment, social enterprises. In 2017 we held 3 YE: 1. DUDE! – Discover, Understand, Diversity, Erasmus - 2016-3-HU02-KA; 2. U can touch this - 2016-3-HU02-KA; 3. M&M’s – Media & Me - 2017-1-HU01-KA. BUT! Our project coordinators and youth workers have experiences in a lot of projects, in the following topics: - environmental protection - gender equality, human rights - unemployment - traditions - cultures, subcultures
