COCEMFE- Spanish Confederation of People with Physical and Organic Disability

COCEMFE is a Spanish NGO self-representative of people with physical and organic disability, that defends their rights and carries out projects on awareness, work inclusion, inclusive education, gender, women with disabilities, capacity building and citizen participation. All our projects have a human rights-based approach and gender approach. We also develop projects in Latin America and the Caribbean, from our Development Cooperation Department. COCEMFE consists of 89 entities that bring together 1,600 associations, representing more than 2.5 million people with physical and organic disabilities in Spain. COCEMFE was established in March 1980. During these 40 years of activity, it has managed a large set of services that group together the activities directly aimed at satisfying the needs and expectations of our main stakeholders, the confederated entities and the people with physical and organic disability, in accordance with its mission, vision and values.
