Bosphorus Youth Team

Our organization was founded by experienced members with backgrounds in media, journalism, education, marketing, and psychology. Our primary mission is to enhance social participation among individuals with limited socio-cultural opportunities, with a specific focus on young people residing in the Kocaeli region. We aim to achieve this by conducting activities that foster personal development, enabling these young individuals to make a more significant impact on societal decision-making processes. One of our fundamental principles is to raise social awareness about underrepresented groups in society and drive positive change as a result of this awareness. Additionally, we strive to instill self-awareness in young people and integrate them into society by making them more conscious of social issues and working towards their resolution. Our primary target demographic consists of individuals aged 15-30, and our organization is supported by numerous dedicated volunteers. Our areas of focus encompass a wide range of fields, including conventional and new media, verbal and written communication, visual arts, sustainability, climate change, European values, social integration, personal development, intercultural dialogue, and sports.
