Bursa Provincial Directorate of Labor and Employment Agency

Bursa Provincial Directorate of Labour and Employment Agency (Bursa İŞKUR), which operates in the province of Bursa in Turkey, in the TR41 region, is a public institution affiliated to the General Directorate of Turkish Employment Agency (İŞKUR). The mission of İŞKUR is to create an effective labour market information system, to match supply and demand in line with the needs of the labour market, to facilitate, protect and develop employment through labour force programs, to provide temporary income support to those who lose their jobs and to implement regulations related to working life. The Bursa İŞKUR consists of a Provincial Directorate operating in the centre of Bursa and two service centres operating in Gemlik and İnegöl districts affiliated to the Provincial Directorate and additional service centres located in Yıldırım. The number of active employees in the Provincial Directorate and Service Centres are 297, of which 178 are Job and Vocational Counsellors working under the Counselling and Job Placement Service.
