Haşim and Zehra Tarı Secondary School eTwinning Eu Project and Youth Club

Gerze Haşim and Zehra Tarı Secondary School eTwinning Eu project and Youth Club was established in 2020.We have 32 active enthusiastic members aged between 13-15.Our city,Sinop is located on the middle coast of Blach Sea.The aim of our club is to carry out some beneficial and fruitful National and International activities to develop our members’ collaborative learning, learning how to learn,problem solving,critical thinking social and intercultural learning,and foreign language skills.We want to fill missing parts in formal education at the schools by taking part intercultural activities. We have been running lots of intercultural eTwinning projects,Strenghtening Democracy Culture in Education project cooparated by Council of Europe and Eu, a sports project coordinated by Turkish Republic Youth and Sports Ministry . We have organised some short trips in our city so that our club members can gain more awaranesses about the history,geography and education system in our city.We also offer our young studentslots of sports opportunities such as basketball,wrestling,bocce,gymnastic,football,table tennis course and training in our school.Additionally, as a clup we organise pretty many activities to support the learning and adaptation of our 30 special educations young students at our school. To empower and develop our young students’ digital competence ,we are in preparations of creating a modern IT Class fulfilled of computers.We are going to give a start of a fresh project called ‘Clean School-Clean Energy’ coordinated by Turkish Education Ministry.Our club is highly avtive in all projects at our schools especially the ones which are intercultural.We would like to take part in more Eu projects to empower our members’ innovation,adaptation,communication ,entrepreneurship,digital and intercultural learning skills.Our young students are so willing and deeply interested in youth exchange and open to social and intercultural learning.We are into to take part in youth projects regarding to sustainable development,environment,Information technology,innovation,agriculture,special education young students and creative learning methots.
