Diputación Provincial de Jaén

Diputación Provincial de Jaén is a provincial government located in the region of Andalusia, Spain. Diputación Provincial de Jaén promotes the economic, social and cultural development of the province and provides services to the 97 municipalities that comprise it, with special interest in those under 20,000 inhabitants. It is organized in several departments: Economy, e-government, tourism, culture, sports, municipal services, infrastructure, employment, agriculture and the environment and social welfare. The social welfare department (Área de Igualdad y Bienestar Social -AIBS-) is responsible for the gender, youth and welfare policies, that include community social services, and pay main attention to youth people. The diversity of measures and resources mobilized by the youth policy of the Diputación Provincial de Jaén is aimed at guaranteeing the possibility of all young people to fully live their youthful condition. On the other hand, facing the demographic challenge of the province means that youth can stay and live in any municipality in the province, with equal access to services and resources, with support to overcome difficulties of a social or economic nature, with respect to their values and civil rights, and with the possibility of developing the personal life project that they have freely chosen, trough by the participation in the different Key Actions opportunities of Erasmus + program too.
