Based in Togo, the NGO A.V.E.S is a non -governmental development organization registered under receipt No. 964/MAT-DAPOC-DOCA by the Ministry of Territorial Administration and is accredited as development NGO under No. 552/MCDAT/2010 by the Ministry of Development, Cooperation and Regional Planning. . Specializing in development actions research, technical support and support for local initiatives, this NGO A.V.E.S aims to fight against poverty by improving basic social services, the management of the environment by engaging voluntary actions. The objectives of the A. V.E.S - Contribute to the improvement of living conditions of the poor , left for the most vulnerable account by giving them better access to basic social services by bringing them to satisfy their basic needs of life; - Reinforce the idea of the best management of the environment; - Promote the cultural diversities exchange and international solidarity through enhanced voluntary youth action to achieve the Millennium Goals for Sustainable Development ; - Facilitate the sharing of information, ideas, experiences and resources among other development structures . - Strengthen the skills and capacities for participatory development; - Contribute to building the capacity of people in self-promotion through the achievement of social and community projects in an awareness of citizenship ( rights of children, women , welfare ...) to become real players in the sector development the base. As an organization which focuses its activities on youth program, NGO A.V.E.S has already organized the international solidarity projects, it participation to the project will be opportunity to present an African social and cultural context of development process. By being part to the project, it could share some experiences about how to manage the voluntary activities in south development country. It can share the type of voluntary service and its disposals which are quite different from that one of Europe. As experience, NGO A.V.E.S organize short, middle and long term voluntary based on international workcamps with types of activities (reforestation, social and cultural animation, patrimonies restoration, schooling and educational supports,…). Otherwise, since 2008, NGO A.V.E.S was be involved as affiliated organization for participating some multilateral youth exchange as twice in Spain. It last participation to this European Action program was in Sicilia (Italy). So, NGO A.V.E.S has to reinforce the capacities for local youth organizations by organizing for them training sessions on the youth action program and international cooperation. Then, some topics could be developed for the young groups, mainly on you entrepreneurship, citizenship, participation for local development and engagement for international volunteering.
