Our team already exists as a community called Çankaya Blockchain Community in Ankara,Turkey. Our background experience is about the Çankaya Blockchain Community. Çankaya Blockchain Community was established on 11th November, 2021 to increase the interest in Blockchain Technology, which is the technology of today and the future, to bring people who are interested in this field together and to train well-educated individuals. Çankaya Blockchain Community is a University based community. Before the establishment of Çankaya Blockchain Community, there were only three blockchain communities in Turkey and there was only one blockchain community in our region Ankara, which is the capital city of Turkey. Because of that, the establishment of the community made a huge impact. First appearance of the Çankaya Blockchain Community in the blockchain ecosystem was the İstanbul Avalanche event on 3rd December, 2021. After that, Çankaya University Blockchain Community team took second place in a Google Cloud-Bitci Hackathon, with their ‘decentralized NFT application’ project and they deserved to win the 15.000₺ prize. While the community was attending events and winning the prizes, they also created the first NFT design collection, which is the first NFT that was designed and released by students, of the Çankaya University for the 25th anniversary of the school. The collection was published at Opensea digitally and at school physically. The community is still adding new designs to the collection for every special occasion and for anniversaries. At the same time, they have released the first university token and 25 million of it is still in circulation. In addition, the community has been building a land on Radio Caca universe, in which Elon Musk’s mother Maye Musk is also a shareholder. They organized their first Metaverse Dance event on that land. The Çankaya Blockchain Community have attended dozens of events, which are most of in İstanbul, and have met hundreds of people. Last event they attended was Avalanche Summit 2 which was in Barcelona. When they came back from Barcelona, they won first place and the prize at HackJuno Turkey in the GameFi department with their project “Gatecon”. As the community develops itself, they also continue to educate the people who are interested in the Blockchain ecosystem. For example, they organized the trainings “Blockchain 101” to instruct people about Blockchain and web3 technology. Furthermore, they have started a series called “Anadolu Blockchain Summit” and they organized the first two events in the cities Ankara and Eskişehir. The purpose of these series is to bring together all the blockchain communities and blockchain enthusiasts in Turkey. Now, the community is organizing a new online training series called “Education Summit 2” with Binance Türkiye. Çankaya Blockchain Community continues to progress by developing and growing itself.
