Municipality of Kavaja

Municipality of Kavaja is located in the region of capital Tirana, in the western coast of Albania. It is well known for historical significance, cultural heritage and coastal charm. The municipality encompasses a mix of urban and rural areas, offering a blend of cultural heritage, beautiful landscapes and it`s unique nature. Kavaja`s social life is characterized by a vibrant community that embraces a mix of cultural tradition and modern influences. Residents often engage in social gatherings, festivals and events, especially during summer, when our city accommodates on of the largest number of tourists in Albania. Also we are very happy that our city was the first that challenge and started the downfall of the communist regime in Albania.
