PeaceWorks Sweden

PeaceWorks has over 40 years of experience from international youth exchanges - sending and receiving volunteers - and vast experience from national and international cooperations focusing on youth, peace and non-violence. Our activities include educational thematic workshops on anti-racism, global justice, feminism and project management in order for youth to organise and take action for change. All our activities are based on norm critical perspectives and intersectionality. PeaceWorks finds it relevant to support such activities that encourage young people to participate in contexts that allow them to reflect on norms and their own behaviour. PeaceWorks has extensive experience in project coordination and in all its phases - from idea to implementation and execution. Besides implementing projects themselves the organisation also holds workshops and trainings to youth in specifically global justice in high schools and folk high schools around Sweden. PeaceWorks is thus experienced in holding exactly this type of training, along with other activities outside of the Erasmus+ programme. We are also experienced in collaborating with other partners within the CCIVS network and in adjusting training to the target group of that activity.
