Open Cultural Center

Open Cultural Center Greece is located in Polykastro, a small town close to the Greek-North Macedonian border. Just 6 km away from Polykastro is one of the largest refugee camp of Northern Greece, called Nea Kavala. OCC Greece aims to support residents living in the camp by providing transport options, organising language classes, skills development workshops, sports activities and cultural events with a focus on women and children’s support. At the same time, we work internationally to create awareness about the situation of refugees while working with many European partners to increase our social impact. Our aim is to build bridges between communities, promoting the social and labour inclusion of migrants and refugees.
