L'ACORT

L'ACORT was born from the history of migrant workers in France in the 1980's. Initially focused on issues in Turkey, L'ACORT evolved as immigrants shifted their focus to building lives in France. Today, they are integrated into the country's economy and politics, asserting, "WE ARE FROM HERE." L'ACORT has broadened its fight to include discrimination and equality, recognizing immigration’s impact on society. It raises crucial questions about access to emancipation for all, regardless of origin. Existing integration policies have failed, reinforcing racism and xenophobia. Now, L'ACORT, as an association of "common law," welcomes all residents, promoting diversity through its participation in local, national, and European initiatives.
