Fusiona Joven

Fusiona Joven is an organization committed to driving positive change in Almería and its surrounding areas, with a focus on fostering inclusivity, particularly for young people facing limited opportunities. Established to address the challenges of youth engagement and participation, Fusiona Joven collaborates with several organisations to implement initiatives in Almería and nearby cities. The organization actively supports the youth by encouraging their involvement in local and international activities, especially through programs like Erasmus+ mobilities and various youth initiatives. Recognizing the scarcity of opportunities for young individuals in the region, Fusiona Joven serves as a solution to empower them to explore, participate, and become active citizens. Fusiona Joven aims to increase youth participation not only in political spheres but also in social and economic aspects. As a newly established association, the organization plans to integrate individuals who have participated in Erasmus+ mobilities and youth activities as members. Additionally, Fusiona Joven envisions promoting educational and volunteer activities within the district. The organization works across diverse age groups, extending its activities to older individuals, adults, and children to promote European values, inclusion, and equality for social transformation. Their cultural department, initiated in 2023, collaborates with local cultural associations, contributing to the organization of festivals, youth programs, and mobility initiatives. Fusiona Joven intends to expand this implementing programs aimed at the youth and supported by funding from sources such as Erasmus+ Mobility Programs, European Solidarity Corps, and local workshops addressing various aspects like job search and opportunities abroad.
