Who We Are Our association empowers individuals at the local level through continuous learning opportunities rooted in non‑formal education. We believe that personal growth and community impact go hand in hand. By equipping people with knowledge, skills, and inclusive values, we work to create positive, sustainable change in society. Our team of 15 dedicated volunteers works passionately to expand our impact and strengthen our community. Together, we are building a solid foundation for sustainability, inclusion, and positive social change. Our Objectives: Sustainability & Environmental Awareness: Promote a culture of sustainability across all areas of life. Educate young people about the personal and environmental impact of their choices. Encourage sustainable practices among individuals, communities, and small businesses. Inclusion, Equality & Social Cohesion: Foster diversity, equality, and acceptance regardless of origin, race, religion, gender, sexual orientation, or socioeconomic background. Reduce discrimination through inclusive initiatives and awareness‑raising. Facilitate intercultural dialogue and understanding between people of diverse lifestyles and nationalities. Education & Skills Development: Provide opportunities for personal and professional growth through non‑formal education. Empower individuals to become responsible, active, and sustainability‑focused citizens. Share best practices and innovative educational approaches. Key Staff Stefania Bricarello Stefania is a skilled professional with extensive experience in formal and non‑formal education, project management, and leadership. Trained as an architect and holding a Master’s degree in Participation, she has dedicated over 20 years to volunteering in social, environmental, and animal‑rights causes. She led the Turin branch of the Natura Nostra association—affiliated with the Joint Research Centre of the European Commission in Ispra—for three years. Stefania has actively contributed to Erasmus+ and Capacity Building projects across Europe, completing training programmes in Lithuania, Poland, Greece, and Romania. Her expertise focuses on non‑formal education initiatives promoting inclusion and addressing gender disparities. She is also involved in a local project supporting cultural integration, particularly in relation to migration challenges. Professionally, Stefania specialises in project management, corporate quality assurance, and sustainability‑related topics including environmental protection, cultural heritage, social inclusion, and agriculture. Tawfiq Yousef Tawfiq brings over 15 years of experience in project management, monitoring & evaluation, and business development, having worked with UN agencies, USAID, BMZ, GIZ, and Terre des Hommes. A certified data analysis trainer, he is skilled in accountability, transparent reporting, and youth employability, combining managerial and analytical expertise to ensure measurable and sustainable results. He is fluent in Arabic and English, with Italian currently in progress, and is widely recognised for his strong communication skills, which make him an effective facilitator and a valuable contributor to youth‑focused activities. Tawfiq’s interests include cultural integration, migration processes, and gender equality. He has participated in numerous international Erasmus+ and Capacity Building trainings. As a natural intercultural bridge within the Association, he embodies its inclusive spirit. He has been actively involved in women’s empowerment and sustainability‑oriented initiatives across the Middle East. His ability to build strong local and international networks significantly enhances the organisation’s reach and impact. Leandro Palaia Leandro has over 10 years of experience in Non‑Formal Education as a trainer and facilitator. He completed one year of service in the European Solidarity Corps, contributing to the development of three Youth Centres in Krakow (Poland) and facilitating multiple workshops and Youth Exchanges. Since 2025, he has served as Community Builder at the NGO YOUth Connect. Within Atelier, he contributes to project creation, youth programme development, and the design of activity plans and workshops. Nelly Fuertes Nelly is a specialist in sustainability, female entrepreneurship, and social innovation within the fashion and creative sectors. She has supported women‑led businesses and participated in Erasmus+ initiatives, bringing expertise in inclusive practices, intercultural learning, and youth empowerment. Fluent in Spanish, she serves as a natural intercultural connector within the Association, strengthening its diverse and inclusive identity. Cristina Frascella Cristina is an expert in project dissemination, budgeting, and communication. As Head of Local Networking, she has many years of experience in managing European projects. She is known for her strong communication skills and provides essential support to all Association initiatives, assisting staff and volunteers in their daily activities and strategic needs.
