Association Culturelle Nadhour

The Association Culturelle Nadhour (ACN) is a Tunisian non-profit organization founded in 2019 by a group of active young men and women in Zaghouan. ACN works to foster positive and sustainable social change through a participatory cultural approach, with a focus on empowering youth and women, particularly those in vulnerable and rural areas. ACN’s vision is to build a sustainable cultural dynamic that empowers youth and women to become key agents of change in their communities. The organization believes in the power of development from within and the collective effort of the community to create a better future, rooted in values of equality, freedom of expression, and local culture. Its mission is to strengthen the social and economic development of marginalized groups, particularly young people and rural women, by developing their talents, life skills, and economic knowledge to enhance their civic and economic integration. ACN’s main objectives include: Promoting sustainable development by encouraging local economic growth while preserving natural resources and the environment. Building a vibrant cultural scene that ensures equal access to arts and culture, promotes creativity, and strengthens the values of citizenship and human rights. Preparing competent young leaders through training and capacity building. Supporting the empowerment and integration of women, especially in Tunisia’s interior regions. ACN’s target groups are vulnerable youth and rural women. Its work spans the fields of culture, youth empowerment, and socio-economic development, with a strong emphasis on community participation and local ownership.
