GENÇLER İÇİN EĞİTİM VE BİLİM PLATFORMU was established in 2021 in Isparta by a group of young people in order to contribute to the social and personal development of local youth. Our group is a non-profit, youth group organization. Our Team is an apolitical youth organization that aims to drive the development of the Turkey society attracting young people towards active citizenship and promoting the local and national cultural values. It is very important that our group helps people to continue their personal and professional development. What makes this group exceptional and ready to take responsibility are the basic principles: tolerance, democracy, diversity, volunteering and openness. Young people and volunteers represent the strong point and the most valuable part of the group. We are active in our community - working with children and youth from placement homes, poor families, old people, unemployed and facing other social problems. One of our main objectives is the inclusion of local disadvantaged youth through different methods, such as sport, music, theatre, dance and painting. In order to realize our objectives, we cooperate with families, local authorities, primary schools, high schools and universities and we develop projects with them. Despite the fact we are a young organization, the key staffs are very experienced. Some of our activities and projects : - Coordination and management of extracurricular activities in different schools in our area - We organize summers camps for children and sport events. - Local seminar with the participation of the local community, students and teachers regarding volunteering and active citizenship; - Campaigns in local schools about the abuse of legal and illegal drugs; - Ecological events, meant to make young students and volunteers be more aware of having a cleaner environment; - Seminars aiming to explore the concept of social entrepreneurship as an innovative way to solve social problems in youth work using entrepreneurial skills - Events that encourage youngsters to add more sport into heir daily lives Our general target group is young people aged 13-30, but we focus on everyone who needs help and support. We want to contribute to the development of civil society, youth work and promotion. Another of our main objectives is to offer young people in our region, mobility opportunities at European level: European programs of mobility (European solidarity corps), youth exchanges, training courses, job offers, scholarships, etc… We have a project no. 2023-1-TR01-KA152-YOU- called "For a Strong Youth in Natural Disasters". What are the activities and experience of the organisation in the areas relevant for this application? We keep good collaboration with our international partners and we are open for new s. We pay special attention involving youngsters with less opportunities and newcomers into international projects The objectives and activities of the our group are: * Building bridges between countries and countries to contribute better to Europe. In order to contribute to this aim, we are preparing European projects on different to pics such as cultural diversity, integration, participation of disadvantaged people, women, music, informatics, sustainable tourism, new types of sports, gender equality and promotion of creativity. * Organizing educational activities such as courses, seminars, conferences and panels; * Establish platforms for achieving a common purpose with other associations or foundations, trade unions and similar non-governmental organizations in areas of interest that are of interest to the Group and which are not prohibited by law; * To prepare all kinds of EU and local projects in cooperation with the local community and other institutions and organizations that will be beneficial for the local region; * To prepare and implement all kinds of social, educational, cultural and professional projects and activities that guarantee the active participation of individuals of allages and cooperate with other institutions and organizations in these fields; * Promote the promotion of civil society values; * Supporting the fight against crime and corruption; * Promote the promotion of ecology and environmental protection; * Promote gender equality; * Assistance and support in the promotion of culture and sport; * Active participation in the promotion of socially responsible entrepreneurship. Our vision is to create a strong network of young volunteers, donors and partners who are fully available when needed, and to take compassion into action to inspire, motivate and promote any humanitarian activity. Civil societ is a bridge of young people who combine and unite the diversity and beauty of Europe in order to reduce racism, prejudice, gender discrimination and the disadvantage of young people.
