Centar za edukaciju mladih ( https://cem.ba ) is a non-governmental organization based in Travnik, Bosnia and Herzegovina, dedicated to creating a safe and supportive environment where young people can reach their full potential. Since its founding, CEM has established itself as a leader in youth work through three primary pillars of action: Core Areas of Impact Non-Formal Education: Providing young people with the skills, knowledge, and competencies not typically found in the traditional school system, such as leadership, critical thinking, and social entrepreneurship. Healthy Lifestyles: CEM is widely recognized for its "Alcohol-Free" campaigns and its commitment to preventing addiction. They promote healthy habits and psychological well-being among youth. Social Activism: Encouraging young people to become active citizens who participate in decision-making processes and contribute to the positive development of their local communities. Key Facilities and Initiatives BeeZone Business Incubator: A specialized hub within CEM that supports young entrepreneurs in developing their business ideas, providing mentoring, office space, and networking opportunities. Youth Center Travnik: A "safe space" where youth can gather, organize events, and access various cultural and educational resources. Advocacy: CEM actively works with government institutions to improve youth policies and legal frameworks regarding public health and youth rights at both local and national levels. Through its diverse programming, CEM aims to reduce youth passivity and brain drain by showing young people that they can be the primary drivers of change within Bosnia and Herzegovina.
