Italian association of people with Down syndrome

AIPD (www.aipd.it) is the Italian Association of People with Down Syndrome. Its headquarters are located in Rome but it counts on 53 local association all over the Country. It provides the usual services offered by any disability association. It has been managing European projects since 2002. It is well known for its autonomy courses, also adopted by the European Down syndrome Association and for the Valueable network , the Europe wide network of hospitality companies which include people with intellectual disabilities in their staff.
