Global Student Forum

The Global Student Forum (GSF) is the global umbrella organisation for representative, independent and democratic student organisations. It brings together more than 200 national and international organisations across over 130 countries, representing students in secondary and higher education. GSF strengthens student organisations and amplifies student voices in international decision-making. Our work includes advocacy, capacity-building, peer learning, research, campaigns and international cooperation on student rights, democratic participation, inclusive and quality education, climate justice, peace and solidarity. We develop learning programmes and practical resources, facilitate exchanges between student leaders, support youth-led initiatives and connect students with governments, UN agencies, civil society and education stakeholders. We are particularly committed to ensuring the meaningful participation of young people and student groups that face exclusion or have limited access to international opportunities. Through Erasmus+ cooperation, GSF seeks to build partnerships that strengthen youth participation, student leadership and democratic skills, while creating accessible learning opportunities that student organisations can use across different national contexts.
