FUNDATIA AVE MARIA CHRISTINA (FAMC) was born in Bucharest and Craiova, as a non-profit organization with the purpose of helping families and children and young people in terms of economic, social and psychological support with volunteers. Both our Administrative Board and Council consist of young people who have an abundance of enthusiasm and who wish to exploit it for the benefit of the development of youth and our region. FAMC team is composed of 5 specialists, having academic and professional background in business administration, psychology, social working, human resources and medicine. Our Executive Director, has completed an MBA at CODECS Business School, London, UK. Our main activities focus around promoting the idea of volunteering and social activity by increasing the number of volunteers, increasing the visibility of volunteerism among the citizens of our community. FAMC has always been open for volunteers regardless the race, ethnicity, sex, sexual orientation, political or religious beliefs, marital status, economic status, professional experience, qualifications, educational level or any such discriminatory criteria.
