ZVEZA PRIJATELJEV MLADINE LJUBLJANA MOSTE-POLJE

Association of Friends of Youth Ljubljana Moste-Polje has been ensuring equal opportunities and a healthy psychophysical development of children and youth for over 60 years. Our aim is to raise the quality of life for children, young people and families, to represent and promote their interests and needs, and to protect their rights. We take an active role in current social issues and contribute to the development of positive life values among children, young people, and families. Our activities are: connecting children in need with people who are willing to help, with the intention of increasing possibilities for healthy development and creating equal opportunities for all children; helping socially disadvantaged families deal with the situation with a comprehensive assistance program that we have developed through years of working with families; having a meeting place for people of all ages to come together, socialise, engage in dialogue, become active and creative, cooperate, ex-change knowledge and experience and take advantage of the diverse services offered by us; organizing children and youth camps with different free time and extracurricular activities and research workshops, sports and cultural programmes, entertainment and creative activities. We propose systemic changes in Slovenian laws to create better possibilities for children in need and to enforce the Convention of the Rights of the Child. We are also member of The European Anti-Poverty Network.
