Léo Lagrange Animation (LLA) is a non-profit organisation belonging to the Fédération Léo Lagrange network, created in 1950. Formerly structured in regional delegations (Centre-Est, Sud-Ouest, etc.), LLA has been regrouped under one organisation since 2025. Rooted in the values of equality, freedom, solidarity, participation and social justice, LLA is dedicated to non-formal and lifelong education, fostering intercultural dialogue and active citizenship for people of all ages. We operate early childhood facilities, leisure centres, youth spaces, socio-cultural and community centres, training institutes, and inclusive sports programmes, reaching over one million people annually. Our activities cover: -Sociocultural, cultural and artistic projects in local communities; -Vocational training, qualifications and social inclusion pathways; -Environmental and consumer education; -Educational and inclusive sport through our Union Sportive Léo Lagrange; -Youth engagement networks such as our Ado/Youth network supporting young people’s initiatives; -Anti-discrimination and democratic engagement programmes, notably Démocratie & Courage, which promotes equality, tolerance and civic participation. Through our Europe and International Service, we coordinate numerous cross-border activities: European youth exchanges, training courses, professional mobility, volunteering under the European Solidarity Corps, reciprocal civic service missions with Africa, and international cooperations.
This organisation holds a European Solidarity Corps Quality Label. The Quality Label certifies that the organisation is able to run projects in compliance with the principles and objectives of the European Solidarity Corps. — Lead Organisation — Scope: Volunteering
