planpolitik designs interactive formats on political and social topics and facilitates them on location and online. Formats include simulation games, future workshops, creative workshops, methodical trainings, competence trainings as well as moderation and consultancy. For years, simulation games have been our key competence. Whether it’s international climate negotiations, EU lawmaking or a Round Table on building a mosque in a fictional small town – playfully experiencing politics and political issues leads to sustainable learning, and it’s fun! We develop simulation games on social, political and economic issues for (almost) all age groups. There are more than 80 games in our repertoire, and every year, a few more are added – mostly on demand. Most of our simulation games are available in various versions, i.e. for different target groups, group sizes or specific related subjects. Ranging from a 90-minute game for 15 people to an event lasting several days for 60 participants – many of the existing simulation games are adaptable. Experience has shown that combining simulation games with other formats such as future workshops or negotiation trainings can be particularly effective.
