ASPEm

ASPEm (Associazione Solidarietà Paesi Emergenti) is an Italian NGO founded in 1979 that operates in three main areas: international cooperation, youth mobility, and global citizenship education. ASPEm implements projects in Europe, Latin America and Africa, focusing on sustainable development, human rights, health, and socio-economic development, especially targeting vulnerable groups such as women and children. Through youth mobility programs like Erasmus+ and the European Solidarity Corps (ESC), ASPEm facilitates international volunteering, fostering intercultural exchange and personal growth for young people. Additionally, ASPEm promotes global citizenship education in schools and communities, raising awareness on sustainability, human rights, and active citizenship. The NGO engages local and international partners to build networks and empower individuals, with a strong emphasis on participatory and inclusive approaches across its activities.
