Écolieu les Masades

Les Masades is an ecovillage dedicated to community living and knowledge sharing located in the South of France. Its purpose is to "cultivate together, on a daily basis, a harmonious life within ourselves, between us, and with the world around us." It is built on three pillars: - Meditation: The practice of Vipassana offers a path to a more peaceful and harmonious life by developing awareness and mental balance. The community provides its residents with the opportunity to anchor themselves in this practice through daily meditation, a vegetarian and alcohol-free lifestyle, and personal work aimed at developing qualities of presence and unconditional love. - Nonviolent Communication (NVC) : Inspired by its principles, we strive to create a relational space that is safe, authentic, and caring. We organize regular sharing circles that foster sincere communication and deep listening. We also enjoy moments of togetherness, such as shared meals, group activities, and celebrations. - Permaculture: Permaculture is both a science and an art that aims to design regenerative ecosystems by drawing inspiration from nature. It is based on an ethic structured around three principles: caring for the Earth, caring for people, and fair sharing of resources. We apply these principles and the permaculture design approach to create a resilient and abundant way of life. You are warmly welcome!
