Youth Association Bedekovčina

Who we are? Youth Association Bedekovčina is a group consisting of ten active members - young activists and cca. 30 volunteers from a small town in north - west Croatia, near Zagreb. Bedekovčina has population of 8000 people. Our main goal is to activate young people to participate in local society. What do we do? Until now we had 3 bigger projects. One was making a documentary movie of one castle from our municipality. We hired two professionals to work on it. We did environmental projects - we cleaned school park and organized a recreational sports event which we now organize every year. We also work on initiatives and humanitarian activities - we collect clothes and then donate it to people with lower income, we donate cookies for Christmas and toys for children. What are we looking for? However, we are lacking in international experience and we want to change that. We would like to do a youth exchange project with an experineced partner.
