YCM Challenge

The #YCM Challenge is an international youth empowerment programme that supports young people aged 16 to 27 in developing their own ideas for social or environmental impact. Through guided online dialogue sessions, mentoring and collaborative activities, young people from different countries connect, explore challenges that matter to them and develop initiatives that can create meaningful change in their communities. The programme focuses on youth participation, intercultural exchange, practical learning and youth-led action. #YCM brings experience in engaging young people across countries, facilitating international online learning formats, supporting the development of youth-led initiatives and connecting social and environmental topics with practical action. We are interested in connecting with complementary organisations working in areas such as youth participation, education, social inclusion, sustainability, climate action, community development or international cooperation. Our aim is to exchange experiences, explore how our approaches could complement each other and identify opportunities for future international youth initiatives. We are particularly interested in organisations that see value in integrating youth empowerment, international dialogue or youth-led social and environmental action into broader collaborative activities. Looking ahead, we are also interested in reaching new groups of young people for future editions of the #YCM Challenge, including the 2027 programme.
