Yasayarak Ogrenme Merkezi - YAŞÖM

What is YAŞÖM? It is an initiative and open space for young people to learn from each other, experience and share life. Whom is YAŞÖM for? For young people who want to discover the world and themselves. Activities at YAŞÖM: workshops with non formal methods in different categories, european languages conversation clubs, volunteering activities, national and international youth projects are arranged on demand of young people. Until today YAŞÖM orginized: - more than 45 workshops in different fields, - more than 7 workshops with specialist, - 7 different languages conversation clubs, - world nights in 10 different counties, - 4 East-West Camp with 254 Turkish and foreing young people, - collaboration with different NGO's (children, zoo) and work with them as volunteers. - 2 Youth in Action Project about young unemployment and spreading the volunteering culture - "Young Social Entrepreneurship Meeting" since 2011, more than 2100 young people interacted with YAŞÖM and YAŞÖM's activities. YAŞÖM aims to: • Create equal opportunities for all young people, • Promote personal competence and self-confidence of young people, • Provide intercultural learning opportunities, • Promote knowledge of social responsibility, • Enhance the vision of young people.
