Association of Psycho-social Rehabilitation Albania (APRA) is a non-governmental organization founded in September 2015 by a group of psychologist, doctors and volunteers. APRA is a branch of the biggest association WAPR (World Association of Psychosocial Rehabilitation) which is present in more than 47 countries. The activity is directed toward initiation, integration, promotion of the volunteering activities, programs and politics about the social inclusion and respect of the rights of people with fewer opportunities. For this reason we work in the provincial area, realizing projects in the youth, social and health field in collaboration with others national and internationals no-profit organization and public bodies. Goals are: - Being active in many promotional activities and projects in the field of psychosocial rehabilitation. - Promote volunteering activities - Promote the (social, personal, professional) rehabilitation of persons with disabilities - Promote programs and politics about the social inclusion and human rights of this target. - Consultation to local, national and international agencies to promote and to improve care, rehabilitation and services for people with mental illness. -Collaboration with hospitals, clinics, primary health centers, rehabilitation centers. - International exchange of experience in the field of rehabilitation. APRA thought its activity would like to create more opportunities for it"s target group that are children, youngest with psychical disabilities, mental health issues, vulnerable groups of the society and families that lives this conditions). The members of APRA have different backgrounds and experiences, but many of them are active in youth work, non-formal education and grass-root activism
